One conversation, one connection, one career changed.

Overview

The CAMEA Mentorship Link is a peer-to-peer program designed to build confidence, community, and professional support among Executive Assistants and administrative professionals in local government across Canada.

Mentorship Link brings professionals together through meaningful, one-to-one conversations grounded in lived experience. It is not about hierarchy or formal instruction — it is about learning from one another, sharing perspective, and strengthening our national community of administrative professionals.

How the Program Works:

Mentorship Link is a flexible, member-driven program that allows participants to shape their own mentorship experience.

Participants may choose to participate as a:

  • Mentor – Share your experience, offer encouragement, and help others as they navigate their professional journey in local government.
  • Mentee – Gain perspective, advice, and professional support from someone who understands the realities of your role.

Mentor–mentee pairs typically connect through confidential virtual conversations, scheduled at a pace and frequency that works for both participants. Each relationship is guided by mutual respect, shared goals, and open dialogue.

Benefits of Participation:

  • Build meaningful professional connections across Canada

  • Strengthen leadership, communication, and confidence

  • Share and receive practical guidance grounded in real experience

  • Foster a sense of belonging within the CAMEA community
